The Maggot Snatcher

Finally decided to post The Maggot Snatcher from 5-Second Day* 2015.  

*5-Second Day is an annual event which takes place at Titmouse Inc.’s 3 studios, where each artist is encouraged to make a short film of 5 seconds or more.  The studio then screens the shorts to the general public in each city (L.A., New York and Vancouver).

2 Art for tv

I painted this submission for this years 2 Art for tv group show at Bunny Cutlet gallery.  This piece was sold.  Acrylic 12"x16"

Stunt men

I have been writing a stunt man story as of late.  I tend to explore some character visuals as part of the writing an thought process.  I've recently switched from sketchbook pro on my iPad to procreate for my morning and evening commutes sketch sessions.  Seems like the only time I find to do some personal drawings.

Design Test part1

I took a design test a few months ago for a show.  I submitted these original designs as part 1 of the test.  the second part was doing a character turn-around for an established character.

Nearly Finished background design for the next Fart-ninja short I'm working on.  I will probably end up chopping this up into bits for layout and boards.

Fart Ninja Character design page

I have been developing this idea for a series of shorts about an overseas animation studio in Japan where all the artist are either Ninja or Samurai clan. Of course each ninja and samurai would have modern specialties. The studio would be run by a shogun boss, who's constantly disrespected by the ninjas.
