Stunt men

I have been writing a stunt man story as of late.  I tend to explore some character visuals as part of the writing an thought process.  I've recently switched from sketchbook pro on my iPad to procreate for my morning and evening commutes sketch sessions.  Seems like the only time I find to do some personal drawings.

Design Test part1

I took a design test a few months ago for a show.  I submitted these original designs as part 1 of the test.  the second part was doing a character turn-around for an established character.

Fart Ninja Character design page

I have been developing this idea for a series of shorts about an overseas animation studio in Japan where all the artist are either Ninja or Samurai clan. Of course each ninja and samurai would have modern specialties. The studio would be run by a shogun boss, who's constantly disrespected by the ninjas.

These are some concept design/ model sheets for the first short I produced for this called "Silent Butt Deadly".

After months of work on the gutbomb, this was the last piece of art added. The menu prop was drawn in pen and ink by joe Jurewicz and I colored it it photoshop. I finally learned to composite the element in aftereffects.

So apparently marvel killed professor x this summer... Anyway, I was bored at the laundry mat and sketched this pic in sketchbook pro for iPhone, on my iPad. I might have to upgrade to the iPad version. This app seems best so far for drawing and sketching... For me anyway.

Trucker Layouts 2

The Gutbomb short is starting taking shape.   The short will be filled with cameo appearances by iconic road movie characters, which wont affect the story so much as be candy for the viewer.  In this particular layout, I first designed a generic trucker, but was unhappy with the design.  I had been meaning to incorporate this baddie from "Over The Top" somewhere, and when redrawing this Layout, I decided to use him.  Im pretty happy with how this scene is taking shape overall.
